About FGU

At FGU Nordvest, we provide education that makes sense. We take a holistic approach, where practice and theory go hand in hand. Subjects such as danish and mathematics are integrated into the projects and tasks our students are working on.

FGU Nordvest is for young people under the age of 25 who need an academic, social, or personal boost before moving on to a vocational or upper secondary education – or entering the job market.

We meet young people where they are – both academically and personally. We build on each student’s skills and interests, because we believe this is the best and most motivating way to learn.

FGU Nordvest covers the municipalities of Jammerbugt, Morsø, and Thisted. Naturally, we have established FGU schools in all three municipalities, ensuring that every young oerson has access to an FGU program close to home. 

We are a strong team of dedicated, experienced, motivated, and skilled staff who are passionate about working with young people. We are driven by spotting and developing talent, and we firmly believe that learning and wellbeing go hand in hand.
