From FGU to EUD (vocational education)

Project Purpose
To encourage more FGU students to begin and complete a vocational education program (EUD).

Project Partners
AMU Nordjylland (project lead), AH, EUC Nord, SOSU Nord, TECHCOLLEGE, HEG, FGU Aalborg, FGU Himmerland, FGU Vendsyssel and FGU Nordvest (Jammerbugt department).

Project Goals

1,180 FGU students & newly enrolled EUD students will participate.
Development and testing of 5 new methods/tools to ease the transition from FGU to EUD.

April 1, 2023 – April 30, 2026

Project Budget
DKK 24.9 million

Co-financing: 33% (of which 8% participant contribution)
Region Nordjylland: 27%
European Social Fund: 40%

CO-Created Education through Social Inclusion (COSI)

COSI.ed will uspcale the proven good practice from the Erasmus+ project; Marginalisation and Co-created Education (MaCE) in five different countries and educational contexts representing Southern (Portugal and Spain), Eastern (Poland) and Northern Europe (Norway and Denmark).

Motivated for education with job opportunities in the local area

Project Purpose
To motivate and inspire students to pursue education pathways with realistic job opportunities in the local area.

Project Owner
FGU Nordvest, supported by the Region Nordjylland Education Fund.

EUC Nordvest

Project Goals
The project aims to create new forms of collaboration between the two institutions and establish shared local learning environments. Since FGU’s target group is strongly rooted in their local communities, it is important to offer educational pathways with subsequent job opportunities in the local area. A strong cross-institutional collaboration ensures that education becomes more attractive, students remain in the region, and local businesses gain access to much-needed labor.
