Exam Types at FGU Nordvest

At FGU Nordvest, there are three types of exams:

Portfolio Exam

The portfolio exam is based on the products and materials you have worked with during your time at FGU. This can include anything from visual materials to written texts. Together with your teacher, you select some of these products from your portfolio, which you will then present at the exam.

One-Day Practical Exam

The one-day practical exam is based on a practical task that you receive on the exam day. Your teacher and the external examiner will be present throughout the day and will continuously ask questions and engage in dialogue with you about the task.

Multi-Day Practical Exam

In the multi-day practical exam, you will be given an assignment that you have 2–5 days to complete, after which you finish with an exam. During the days you work on the assignment, your teacher will be available to provide guidance.

Exam Regulations – FGU Nordvest

These exam regulations contain the general guidelines for conducting exams in the educational programs at FGU Nordvest. Students are expected to familiarise themselves thoroughly with the regulations before taking part in exams. The exam regulations are prepared in accordance with the provisions of the Executive Order on Tests and Examinations in Basic Vocational Education, as applicable at any given time.
