As an FGU student, you are entitled to a school benefit.  The amount depends on your age, whether you live at home or on your own, and whether you have children.

Rates 2025

• Under 18 years: DKK 430 per week.

• Over 18 years (living at home): DKK 744 per week.

• Over 18 years (living away from home): DKK 1725 per week.

• Supplement for single providers: DKK 1684 per week.

• Supplement for non single providers: DKK 671 per week. 

The school benefit is earned from the 16th of one month until the 15th of the following month.

Please note that the school benefit is conditional on your attendance. If you are absent, your school benefit will be reduced – unless the absence is legally justified, for example due to illness.

To receive the school benefit, it is important that you have:

• activated your tax card.

• a NemKonto (official bank account).

• access to e-Boks (digital mailbox).
